Will my DVD play on ANY DVD player?
All our DVDs are burned on DVD-Rs. They work on MOST, but not ALL DVD players. Some older DVD players do not have the capabilities to play DVD-R discs. If you are worried that your DVD or gaming system may not play our discs, contact us for a sample DVD to view and test.
What music can I have on my DVD slideshow?
You may have virtually ANY song selection you would like added to your DVD at no additional cost. Studio West Designs can LEGALLY obtain most music selections for you, or you may provide your own music by giving us a CD.
How long will it take to create my DVD slideshow?
Upon reciept of your pictures and payment, your project may take up to two weeks to complete. If you require your DVD to be created sooner, or by a certain date, please contact us for a better estimate of how long your DVD may take to create (extra cost may apply). We can usually get your DVD completed approximately 7 days.
Some of my photos are very damaged. Can you fix them?
Absolutely. We offer professional photo-restoration at additional cost and can repair virtually any damaged photograph. Restoration fees may vary. Check with us for a quote!
What sort of packaging does my DVD come in?
Just as the DVD itself is custom, so is the case it comes in! We can custom-design your case to your wishes . . . or our designers can come up with a creation all their own. It's up to you! Your DVD also will feature a matching label to complete the look!
How many photos can I put on my DVD?
Our software allows us to put an unlimited amount of pictures in up to 6 individual slideshows.
How do I send you my photos?
Digital photos can be put on a CD and sent to us via US Mail. Actual photos can be sent via Priority US Mail, or via UPS. Studio West Designs recommends that you ALWAYS send your photos in extremely secure packaging and ask for tracking and shipping confirmation of your shipment, as Studio West Designs is not responsible for any photos that are lost or damaged enroute to us.
After seeing the presentation, many of my family members want to order copies of the DVD. Can I order more copies now?
Yes. We will keep your DVD on file for up to a year. If at any time, you would like an additional copy of your DVD, contact us. Additional copies cost $10 each.
How many songs can play in each chapter?
You can have an unlimited number songs. However, keep in mind that the length of time each picture in the slideshow stays on the screen depends on the length of the music playing. A typical slideshow with 100 pictures features 2-3 songs, depending on the length of the songs. |
